    Motto

    Our motto is Be Prepared

    Girls' Verdict

The best way of knowing what girls think of Guides is to ask the girls themselves. When we asked 2nd Cardonald Guides to tell what they think of being part of our organisation, we thought their answers were so interesting that you would want to read for yourself what the girls think about Guides. Wouldn't you like to belong to a group like this?

    Six Laws

    We have 6 laws:

    1. A Guide is honest, reliable and can be trusted.
    2. A Guide is helpful and uses her time and abilities wisely.
    3. A Guide faces challenges and learn from her experiences.
    4. A Guide is a good friend and a sister to all Guides.
    5. A Guide is polite and considerate.
    6. A Guide respects all living things and takes care of the world around her.

    The Guides' Promise

    Guides make this promise:

I promise that I will do my best to love my God, to serve the queen and my country and to keep the Guide laws.

    Eligibility

If you are 10 to 14 years old and would like to join us, come along any Tuesday night, 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

If you are older and have a couple of free hours every week (or now and again) and you enjoy a challenge and like working with young women, we would be delighted to see you.
