Often the flowers are given in memory of loved ones or to celebrate a happy occasion, but many donations are made without a particular event in mind because we like to see the displays or support this fund.
The flowers that adorn the sanctuary every Sunday demonstrate to us the exquisite beauty God has conferred on the world of nature. We appreciate the floral artistry of those who lovingly arrange the flowers to maximise their impact and to encourage within us a sense of wonder and worship.
Vital also are those who, after the service, enable the flowers to reach folk who are much in the thought of the Congregation.
We are grateful to receive gifts towards the weekly display of flowers in the church. All donations are most welcome as they help us to carry a message of God’s love and care to others after the Sunday service.
Our thanks go to arrangers, donors and distributors of flowers for their contribution to the life and worship of the congregation.
